We have several options for equipment for brightDSL Service.  The equipment that we use is supported by Verizon DSL Technical Support as well as our Technical Support Staff. 

You can purchase your own equipment from a different vendor, but we do not guarantee that the equipment will work with brightDSL Service.  The equipment that you purchase must support PPPoE and PAP Authentication.  If you do purchase your own gear from someone else, please keep your receipt in case the gear does not work.

CastleNet DSL Router - This router does NAT translation as well as DHCP so you could connect up to 256 computers to this router.  This router also allows you to map ports that you could have your own mail or web server.  This router is included in your sign-up.

The CastleNet DSL Router has one port for ethernet.  If you plan on connecting more than one PC you will need a hub or a wireless access point.  Give us a call and we can put together a solution that will work for you.
